Double engine made to look like twin cyl engine. Nice package. I'm sure the timing between the two has been figured out. Can't wait to see it run.
because you still need at least 1 or two working models. one to keep, and one to send to china.why doesn't someone get the Chinese to make one? Then we could all have one
the other possibility............... is to have the crankcase, crank and gears machined up and sold as an accessory....then people would have to buy two grubbee/china girl etc etc motors, and cannabalise them for the parts, and put them into the new v twin crank case.....Not to mention the $50,000.00 that the EPA wants for testing and approval for importation, if and that's a big if it actually passes 2012 emission standards.
Mr riding that sounds like a perfect idea I want one of those crank cases
So someone stateside did all this to develop the existing grubee single? Or did the Chinese come up with that themselves?because you still need at least 1 or two working models. one to keep, and one to send to china.
then you can only buy in minimum order quantities of anywhere from 50 to 100+
so even if you can buy 50...lets say each one is worth $80 bucks each (rubbery figures i know but here goes)
80 x 50 = 4000 +
shipping potentially $1000+
any fees, charges, landing fees etc etc possibly another 1000+
your looking at $6k up front.... and thats being generous by saying you could have 50 made....
but there is a definite market for them.....
Nooooooooo!or we could chop up a maytag engine......
