Schwinn Questions

I have a 1970's schwinn typhoon and I am wanting to try to install hand breaks but the problem is there is nowhere to mount them. The bike has pedal back brakes and I don't like using them to much because they are old and not always reliable. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

If theres a hole(on the front fork or rear drop outs) where the fenders mount, you can use that hole to mount caliper brakes, i did and they work great.

I think he was saying that there's no where to mount those brakes??

How much do drum brakes cost? And yeah there is no where to mount brakes at
