I wanted to see some good racing and it delivered. I mean were talking from the 49cc class through the unlimited class!! Thanks Neil for putting on this event & I cant wait to race the Grange with my 4 stroke. Also thanks to the track owner for putting up with us and having us rent the track.
It was awesome seeing old friends along with making new friends.

Baird you put on one heck of a good race in heat 2. You were all over Steve & you were pretty darn close to pass him. I got a few shots of you on my GoPro but thatll take a little bit of time to post.

This is a few pics that I have taken from my iphone

I don't how 40+ motorbicycles can get together and have any greater crowd thrilling competition. (What if AGK, Piston Bikes, & BigBoys had of made it?) Folks, the motored bike scene is evolving to where no man has gone before.

Holy WeedWackers, after cherry pickin' the small engines class last Adams race, my shame dictictated I run in the faster mid-range class - WRONG - NashMoto#98, who also runs his 50cc 4stroke with the fiesty 2screamers, had his camera buddy snap his picture then tuttled out to line up with the 25cc ShuttleBuddys. Jimminie, my 3.6hp electric (=6.3hp gas) would've been skunked. Low lap times around 1m:27s were noted. These cool bumble bee terrorists were so evenly matched that whenever one slingshotted a pass, the #2 guy could catch a draft and stick with 'em. Tough titty kitty if you didn't nail your A+ start into the 1st corner because after that, they'd just keep getting farther and smaller away. http://shuttlebuddy.com Just bolt these babys onto your bike, pedal start the motor and it's race time!

Our elite racers (except we missed the late nite partiers) were there. Mopes, ChinaGirls, Morinis and a Honda sputtered in for the event. #33Baird and #8MagRider ran as fast as their past, but the ArrowCycle team made it a sweep. If winning was easy, then even losers would do it. Check out fotos as they get posted of super tight 1m:24sec action. http://www.arrowmotorizedcycles.com/

Been wanting to build a bike that looks good, practical for fun rides, and is raceable. I've overlooked the mid-size 4stroke class, which no one should do. On the line I was immediately intimidated by the gorgeous Joker bikes (and others) alongside of me. Exquisite painting, curvatious lines, and a throaty rumble to match. Mope #169 led way out there with 1M:24sec; congrats Matthew, newcomer Mope from Ventura! Rather easy going riders, no funky monkey out there. Thanks for making me feel welcome running in your class. Only staved off #187 mope coming up from behind by pedalling harder than I can ever remember, sore today. http://www.thejakebike.com/

The 11hp main. The pack was packed up up in the front. A new tec treat was flagger Bob, God Bless, let's all stand up for Bob, used his i-pad to time laps which Neil pronounced over the intercom. EasyRider narrowly led and set a new track record for motored bicycles 1m:18.9sec. But then he dropped to 2nd, laps later to 3rd; was he losing speed? The Mope guys are like wolf spiders. They hunt their prey a while then leap for the kill. They passed, took over, then crashed, and almost got run over. Scotto sneaked a momentary lead (I may be confusing the heat), snagged his foot on the pavement but stayed dignified by holding his foot up high behind his head and waving with his free hand that everything was under control. Last I heard, the record was in the low 1m:18sec vicinity. What a heartbreak to be a fast Morini builder, snag the record, then have others to trim another fractional second from their time and steal it away. I had to check my breathing after the checkered flag.

The dyno was there! Nothing like a little horsepower honesty. The reward closing got delayed as the ArrowCycle team had their creations getting dynoed just across the way. My electric is up to 3.4-3.8hp(= 5.9-6.7hp gas), depending on battery charge. Heard a 10.2hp number for 1 of the Arrow Cycles. http://tomahawktuning.wordpress.com/

Last and not least, raves abounded concerning Cross-Eyed Cow pizza. Track owner Jim has given youthful desert rats an artistically intriqueing pizza house, complete with Wi-fi, and racers are invited to haunt it after a hard day of adrenalized fun. Thanks for giving this sport some longevity MBR.

i got 4th. again. but at least my bike was really, really loud...

anyways, i think i'm gonna retire this bike. i've gotta build something a little bigger to keep up with the arrow bikes. those things are waaay too fast for a china girl...
Baird got awarded a prize of an air filter from Sick Bike Parts for having the
loudest and most obnoxious sounding bike at the track on the 20th.

However, Bigboy's still retain the grand title from the last April race for their
trombone tooting 4 stroke exhaust. :D

The most fun I’ve had in the unlimited class to date as I was dicing it out with Scotto on his ‘not so loud anymore’ 4 stroke. He would leave me on the main straight and by the last 3 corners I would finally catch him, and I could make the move for the pass sometimes it worked, others not, then he would leave standing racing up the main straight again (This went on for more than half the race). This was due to the fact that he had broken some spokes on his rear wheel making the bike squiggly.
Actually there were a few other racers that were breaking their spokes also.

Thanks to Dad, brother, Neil, The Grange, promoters, sponsors, volunteers, spectators, fellow racers and riders another great day in the desert. See you next time in the pits -Magrider-

Dean and I finally got home. Great way to end the season :) I had a blast racing but I really enjoy socializing with the other racers.
I glad my motor made it through the weekend now I can start rebuilding the motor for next year. We couldn't get it to run during the heat races but it ran good during the main. My fading in the main was due to my rear tire drifts but mostly because of mental mistakes. I knew it was only a matter of time before the moped guys were going to pass me but I held them off for as long as I could.
My hat goes off to NashMoto for getting the better of me during the main. (I'll get you next time!) lol
Brian is so silky smooth on the track and picks great lines.

Also Thanks to Sophorn (but I call him the "408") for helping me reattach my gas tank with zip ties and a hose clamp before the Main.

Special thanks to Neil and Baird for hosting awesome races.
I hope to see everyone next year!

# 30 Dale the owner of Shuttle Buddy narrowly beating his buddy # 18
across the finish line in the first heat!

These guys were on pretty evenly matched 25 cc 10,000 + rpm
screaming 7/8" spindle friction drives and drafting each other for
any advantage they could get.

Too much Fun!!! :)
# 30 Dale won the 12 lap final and actually beat the previously
unbeatable nashmoto

I hope everyone had fun on the track and with the dyno. I'll bring it back for the next race hopefully with a o2 sensor as well. And thank you again Neil for putting on an amazing event.

Hey Ryan
Your dyno was a big hit and an amazing creation! :D

Thanks for all your all nighters to get it done and even get the
printer working.

I am really happy that my helper picked your name out of the hat
for that free lunch from Jim Granger's Cross Eyed Cow Pizza restaurant
and that Chris gave you his free dinner that he won later in the day at
the Prize Ceremony!

Ryan is a local Apple Valley guy with his very own Moped gang! :)

I assure everyone that the drawing was not rigged!!! :D I run a clean show.

There are lots of pics of the dyno and the race coming very soon.

I gave your number to Dave Rust because he wants to work with you
on the dyno with his bikes. I hope you don't mind.

Ryan won one of the new throttles from Sick Bike Parts who also gave us
all kinds of cool parts for prizes.
Thank you Jim and Pablo!

Ridin' inSane Diego, CA.
just wanting to know what kind of power did you see with the dyno?
I saw quite a bit of power with the dyno....there were some very impressive little engines there. I was one of the last people to have my bike dyno'd and Ryan said it was the most powerful bike he tested that day at the track. I personally don't think it was as someone with a more powerful bike wouldn't let them redline his powerful beast. More than enough power you can be sure!

A huge thanks to everyone that made yesterdays race at Grange
such a fun time! :)

Special mention to Turkman who did an outstanding job flagging and
recording lap times which he came very prepared to do.
It was the first time I had met Bob after only seeing his cool bikes on
the forum.
Thank you Bob for making the start finish fun and for the gobstoppers to
keep our energy up! :)

You put on a great show with style starting and finishing the races and
didn't even double white flag one race! :D
On after thought I blew it by not giving you one of the many prizes from
Sick Bike Parts, Joker Machine Inc and Shuttle Buddy.
I owe you one, when I see you at the next race.

Big thanks to Dave Rust at Arrow Motorized Cycles for the cool trophies
from Dave's many racing wins in his past.

www.ArrowMotorizedCycles.com is back up and running after Dave spent over
a month moving both his house and shop which is now really close to
Grange Motor Circuit.

Here is Bobs very classy bike at Grange

I wont talk about anyone's hp numbers as it's their business to share that if they want to and not mine. Though I will say I was really impressed by the arrow bikes and equally so by a couple 200cc bikes after comparing them to one that was near stock.

Besides all that though check out tomahawktuning.wordpress.com for some videos and pictures. And do me a favor and tell me who this guy is

I want to get some pictures from him.
