Sat JUNE 1st 2013 SoCal Motor Bicycle Racing 2 Year Anniversary Extravaganza!

Were there any electric bikes at the meet?

Still waiting to see the results posted. Almost like the race did not happen at all?

.

Since the official results have not been posted from the June 1st race a week ago, i'll assume that I won the "Unlimited Class" with no protests. That being the case I would like to thank Richard of Joker Machine for the really cool trophies that were presented to the winners in several different classes! Thanks to all the sponsors, fans, racers and everyone else involved in making this a great event!

Love those billet trophies, makes it very worthwhile for all the building and racing of these creative motored machines........thanks again!

Scotto, congratulations on our win in the unlimited class. so did you beat Christophe? did you win that 79CC HF engine? is that another trophy for another class win, or is it a reflection?

maybe posting the 'official results' should be part of the entry fee? or maybe I should have gone so I wouldn't have so many questions

Congrats scotto, andy, jim, and whoever else won the most awesomest extravaganza anniversery race!

Congrats to all the racers... it was a really good day without any of the old problems. :)

I'm hoping even more riders will show up for the next race to keep this thing alive (& growing). (^)

relax boy's, results are in and your have to rent the movie ''on one saturday'' but problems dubbing neil in all the races is taking time. it aint easy when your a star... check your local redbox soon!

Thanks Steve, I beat one of Christophe's bikes with Ryan racing it.....Chris was documenting the event (but I would have beat him anyway :D ). That is a second trophy for a win in the HF 79-99cc class which it seems I had the only one, so yes, another beautiful trophy (thank you again Joker Machine and Neil) for my newly built trophy room! I will say my 99cc commuter bike was about the lowest HP machine racing in the mid-class.

The 79cc HF engine was the prize donated to the unlimited class by me, for me if I won as there were no prizes given to that class for winning? I think this is to discourage people for building and racing bikes of this nature.......maybe it is time for me to retire? Due to lack of interest or lack of competition?

Maybe I can build a 66cc china girl and start all over again ;)

Can we get tickets in advance for the premier screening? laff

Thanks Baird, Brian Nash took home 2 trophies also........we were both pleased as punch! Hope you're good to race in October and have a speedy recovery....we missed ya!

Scotto, the unlimited class will always be the minority. the faster you go the more $$$ it takes. how many racers were there in the mid class? I think that is the class to be in.

Not many more than in the unlimited class final :(

It only takes more $$$ to a point......the mid-class and the pro-class could easily surpass that. Example; pro-class Arrowmotorbikes race engine = $800-$ 900. How much money have you got in Dave's GX120 engine? I seriously doubt it is stock.

Jim Rust want's to race the unlimited class on a 2-stroke of reasonable size to be competitive......will this promote the class?

Time will tell.

Brothers GX120 only has the governor removed, and a cnc aluminum flywheel. to the best of my kowledge the head hasn't even been removed and the flywheel is not much lighter than stock. it's running the stock unmodified carb, only rejetted.

I have a 49cc Morini Arrow can race against, it's unmodified, meaning it is showroom stock. actually his engine has more CC's than my Italian

Yep just what Steve said. The only thing that detures people away is shelling out $300 off the bat. Other than that the governor was removed and replaced the flywheel, In fact nrracing said I didn't even have to replace the flywheel but I just want to be safe and don't want a grenade to blow up under my butt. Stock carb and the darn engine isn't even port matched. Heck I dont even know how to take the head off. It's the same gear ratio that was on the 212 when Steve raced it but that is changed now.
If you'd like you can tear the engine down but you'd have to replace the gaskets and oil.

scotto bro, i'm working on getting lil' red up in power to race against you but i didnt get the crank back in time to test the motor. hopefully i can take a few steps forward in the power and handling department to get a little closer to your rocketship. kevin's game now it's up to me to get him their, live and learn. dennis

We could have some serious fun fending off the Nopeds laff The unlimited class is the fastest class if nothing else!

Hey Scott
I just got some pics of the Prize and Trophy Ceremony from Richard
at Joker Machine Racing who does so much to help promote the races.

Thanks for coming to every race and upping the game for the fast
bikes cause it makes for a great show.

You earned those trophies, fantastic watching your mean machine blast
around the track!

You get there early and are one of the last to leave, it is a great time
and thanks for the beer at the Awards as it's a thirsty job keeping the
show rolling! :)
