Predyno 99cc......the ultimate daily cruiser!

scotto is there any reason you coulnt run you primary without that idler i love the look without the side plate but im not a big fan of tensioners or pullys
build is lookin great!!
glenndnut

The only reason I did it this way is it's the easy way out lol. As you know when you're running 3 chains (of different sizes especially), you're gonna have issues to get proper chain tension on all three.

Besides, a couple little idler wheels look and sound a lot better than 2 or three chains slappin all over the place ;)

Here's the pic's for today.......so close to riding the bike now (powered by the engine), almost took it for a spin today :D

I'm ready to ride this puppy, what do you think?

Looking great scotto! That gas tank is going to look good in there! That engine just looks right at home in that frame too!

Still waiting on a few parts, here is some work on the tank and a temporary tank I made in case I don't get he tank finished by this Saturdays ride. I am set on riding it this week end, if not sooner. Can't wait!

I got the temporary tank (aluminum bottle) at the Goodwill with my senior discount for next to nothing. I knew it would come in handy ;)

Thank you WightBoy, I couldn't agree with you more! :D

I just couldn't wait any longer.........took her for the maiden voyage today without a hitch. Still waiting on some exhaust and jackshaft disc-brake parts....the tank is being welded as I write this. Took 2 separate rides around the streets of University City and the bike rode flawlessly and has good power so far at up to 5,280rpm with my 175lbs and the bikes 90lbs.

I couldn't be happier with this build so far, lots of fun riding ahead!

Installed a kickstand on the Predyno from the new Felt that arrived today. I took it for 2 more cruises around University City again today........I love riding this bike!

In case I didn't mention it earlier in this thread somewhere, I've decided to leave the frame with it's original blue paint.......I just like the color too much ;)

Today I welded up a temporary exhaust pipe to take her on a 75mile group ride tomorrow. Got a temp pipe, temp gas tank and no rear brakes..........no worries!

Let's Ride !!!

actually, i think it's the clutch I like.

I like the clutch and the bike as I just took it for a 75+ mile ride and it performed flawlessly! This is truly my ultimate daily cruiser........99cc does it all and the Dyno is a joy to ride.

Makes me want to throw together a 4 stroke of similar setup for a daily cruiser to use this summer.

Was going to ask how she performed today

What kind of range did you get with the water bottle tank?

You'll be glad if ya do, it's pretty basic and sure to be reliable.

On the first tank I got from Clairemont, down to Sea World and up into the hills of Rancho Santa Fe before it ran dry. That would be approx 40 miles. The tank I built for it should be about double that size.

That little engine runs like a champ!

Got a package today......PARTS! Woohoo, now I can somewhat finish this build and hopefully get the race bike back together.

I like them both very much, but I haven't tried both drives on the same engine with the same gear ratios so it's hard to say which I think is best.

I do enjoy making my own jack shaft set-ups however, I like experimentation.
