Yikes! I hope that that is not a body bag next to/ underneath the carnage.
Even at slow speeds, I guess getting rear ended on a taxiway can be a heck of alot more dangerous to your health than getting rear ended on a roadway.

Thanks, Ludwig. I'm forwarding your link to my pilot friends and especially the one who emailed the photos to me.

I sincerely regret that I used the photos inappropriately but in good conscience the information I recieved in that email was that there were no injuries. It specifically stated that the Avenger's propeller missed the pilot's head by a foot but did not say there was another person killed. My apologies to the victim's survivors and anyone else involved in that tragedy.

Accidents like that are a warning to all of us, institute and maintain safe procedures and, for any who are employers, staffing levels so the procedures are followed.
