The Boy Who Never Grew Up
At 65 it feels odd to describe anything about me as new, but since I haven't been here before I guess I'm a little bit new. But not new to motorized bikes. Some years back I started out with a fever for restoring old Tanaka friction drive front fork motors, still have a couple and lots of parts if anybody needs them. I have two 63 Schwinn American Deluxe bikes with 80cc engines, one bump start and the other pull start. I also have one 36 volt 500 watt electric using a Golden Motor. The 80cc bikes are the ones that I actually ride regularly. I like going faster than I have any business going, but never fully grew up I guess. Nice to be here with others sharing the same addiction.

Walter, Welcome to the forum and...you're never too old. There is a lot of the 'Peter Pan' mentality around here and these funny little bikes we ride cultivates it. Have fun, ride careful.
