Bill the typical race day schedule is on most of the old race threads but going to have to get a SMBR website up really soon with all the info in one place!

Practice 7 to 9:15 am

Riders meeting 9:30 to 10am

Heats start at 10:15

Lunch at 12:30 to 1:30 with everyone on a 3 lap track cruise at the start of lunch.
Final races after lunch

Prize and Trophy ceremony at 4:30 pm to 5pm?
with maybe some track time until it gets dark at 6:30 pm

PS: We are racing Clockwise or downhill on the front straight.

Probably do the next T shirt design that way Jeff, but this time wanted to keep the costs down with only one print.
Between buying all the shirts, rent, custom billet cover trophies and a bunch of 2 stroke kits this week I am outta cash.
Still owe the T shirt Guy $220 that I have to rustle up by Wed or Thurs at the latest. Lol

I'm going to run my super duper high performance 1k watt bike on the track and take pictures. I'm trying to get Dean to tag along but if he doesn't go...I'll still go solo. Save me a large Neil.

Dunno if my bike's gonna make it. trying to lace a moped hub into a 24" rim and out of the ten million spokes i have, none of them are the right size. the hub has to be a 3x because of the mounting holes for the sprocket. normally i do a 4x but it's impossible.

trying the local bike shops now.

I built the frame for the wide hub so if i can't build the wheel i'm screwed.

Also have a ton more work to do. finish, seal and mount the tank, reweld dropouts on a fork, port a gen 1 50cc motor with a steel cylinder, cut and reweld an expansion chamber, make a seatpost and mini fender, and put the whole dang thing together and hope it runs .

Been working on it nonstop for days and i feel like giving up and going drinking.

Honestly, i don't really have the ambition for these bikes that i used to.

If i get this thing done, it might be my last...

If I get up to Grange on friday under my own steam I won't be there
until 9.30 pm which is way too late!

Anyone coming from the Orange County area on Friday?

Gimme a ride with a bunch of stuff and I will pay for your gas
to the track and back and you will get lotsa perks like massages
from our trophy girls.

Would like to leave North OC at noon to get to the track by 3 pm.
but any time before 9:30 pm would be good too.

I'll be racing in the 99cc class for sure... maybe in the midrange class too?
I'm not sure if I'm gonna race my 66cc china in the intermediate or pro class yet... I'll see how things look when we get there.

I just found out from the Big Boys that the 2014 Whizz In is on the 2014 April 5th weekend so that race date may be moved.

The date will be finalized at the race this Saturday.

No room for the moped. and with it's crazy steering geometry i probably wouldn't make it around the off camber turn.

I finished a wheel with a different hub, but there's still a long way to go on the bike.
