North East Race Day

I'll talk to the owners at the next event, If i don't go to Dan's ride..
I need to talk to him face to face to convince him it's a good idea. Track rental is a bit pricy. We usualy fork out $125 a peace for race day.
 
They shut down an active military runway for us to get out to the old ones. Notice the Hummer hanging from the chopper in my vid. And 125 is cheap most track days are 400 for 2 hours, They are 125 for 5.

How is the race organizing coming along?

Would be great to have motorized bike races in Tucson, SoCal
and on the east coast.
Let me know if you need any help seeing that I am a veteran race
organizer now. LOL

You won't get hardly anyone from this forum to pay those kind
of entry fees.
My very successful June 18th race at Willow Springs had an entry
fee of only $25 and included a second race class and free entry for
up to 3 friends. Free camping too.
About 76 entrants who got race numbers.
If $125 is cheap what do you call that? Ridiculously cheap? lol

Every other kind of racing in Southern California costs at least twice
as much for even GoPeds / scooters.
Motorcycle track time is much more.

Sadly, it doesn't look good.

There's three types of events that have taken place there, gokarts, car time trials & drifting... and the last time the drifters ran there was a noise complaint of all things.

As a result & despite the fact it's been going on for years - the lot may no longer be an option for anyone, all thanks to one busybody >.<

Im guessing the biggest obstacle is finding a track that will allow it.
