Bought 2 same day the red Pacemaker came with title came with about 300 miles left turn signal currently not working everything else great buy.
The black panther no idea what year broken throttle but runs. No title

How can i get more power out of the Pacemaker I was looking for bigger carb but could not find anything same thing with copper head bike top speed has been 30mph struggles uphill if I don't have a head start to build up to 30 mph

Bought both for $300 btw

Politicians have destroyed the market for Whizzers in several states where they have to be registered as a motorcycle because of displacement. Riders figure they might as well just buy a motorcycle with more features, a modern engine design, and a transmission. I sold mine when the state tightened requirements for motorized bicycles, Instead, I started making Whizzer-type bikes that meet the 50cc requirement. There has never been a liberty in history that politicians didn't want to trample. Aside from that, you got the deal of a lifetime. The best thing you can do to get the most out of both bikes is to make sure they are properly tuned and make sure your belts aren't slipping. When I got those things right, my ole Whizzer would easily do 40-45 MPH and on a good day I could outrun my buddy's Cushman! I think Wrench gets higher speeds from his Whizzer. I'm currently tinkering with the jetting on a Huasheng with a Keihin carb. Assuming your bike has the same 19mm Keihin, there is a wide range of jets available if you want to de-restrict the air filter and exhaust.

Yes i would love to de restrict do you have links for jets im sure everything is original on my red Whizzer everything works except battery but the it is currently not going faster than 30mph.. after I thighend the tire because the chain was slipping and I've been messing with carb also
 
There are a thousand sources. Some are Sudco, Jets R Us, and Summit Racing. The key is to have the model of your carb and, if possible, the part number for the jet you need. It just takes some digging and some patience. New jets won't help if the timing, the spark plug, crankcase vent, and belts aren't right. And a free flowing filter and exhaust are needed to allow the engine to burn the extra fuel from a larger jet. Finally, a Whizzer is a little squirrely over 40 MPH. I had to swap out the rear coaster brake for a 203mm disc to feel safe. Good luck and have fun with your new toys.

Sorry I'm late chiming in,

The Red bike Pacemaker is WC1 Black Panther it's a WC1
WC1 engine was produced from 1999-2004
My specialty is the NE5 engine produced from 2005 - 2006
NER was in the NE-5 style produced from 2007-2008
Ambassador with and without CVT 2008 - 2009

First of all IDK if previous owner made any upgrades, I can see the red bike engine but I can't see the Black bikes engine
Pacemaker looks stock

One thing I can tell you about the WC1 is that the cam gear timing dot needs to be advanced 1 tooth counterclockwise
Check/adjust the valve lash .010" Exhaust and .008" intake & clean any casting obstructions from the ports
Vent breather hose into the atmosphere The air oil separator Whizzer used is too small and it only creates too much crankcase pressure that will pump oil into the air filter and cause oil leaks elsewhere
use a catch can or bigger air oil separator to control any venting oil
But its best to use the NE-5 valve cover with vent port or install a vent port on your WC1 valve cover
I can show ya how to make a bigger air oil separator made from PVC pipe and SS pot scrubber pad. Any oil caught by the air oil separator will return to the crankcase - just ask me how it's done

There's more mods that can be done to get more speed like unrestricting the intake and exhaust
Shaving the head .040"-"060" using a copper head gasket even using a bigger carb and bigger intake valve

Heat coating can be put on the piston, head and valves to reduce operating temps
Some have hooked up a small cooling fan in attempts to keep the cyl cooler


But making speed modifications to the WC1 it becomes prone to overheating because of the cyl small cooling fins
Upon increasing speeds the overheating issues cause the valve seats to come loose

To correct this problem Whizzer produced the NE-5 engine
Cyl has larger cooling fins and the valve seats were cast in place instead of pressed in place like on the WC1

Whizzer offered NE-5 top end kits to WC1 owners who had warranty claims and sold them to those who did not
Ralph Westman (Whizzer Dealer #1) took it upon himself to make cast Iron cylinders for the WC1 and NE5
These are the beast and produce the most power I use Westman NE-5 cylinders

Sadly, the supply of Whizzer NE-5 engines and cylinders or Westman cylinders has dried up
They're not impossible to find tough as I see NE-5 engines pop up for sale on E bay all the time

But for now, keep your WC1 kinda stock so ya don't pop the valve seats
BTW Whizzer advertised 1.95hp and top speed of 25 mph

Yes, Whizzer restricted the engine on purpose to 1.95 HP on the WC1 and NE-5 to meet USA moped rules so they could sell the Whizzer as a Moped in most USA states Whizzer actually had the cam gear timing dot stamped one tooth retarded on purpose and they restricted the intake & exhaust to prove that the engine only had 1.95 Hp
The 2008-09 Ambassador was sold unrestricted


But we all know that with a few turns of a wrench and some basic modifications the WC1 will go 35-40+ MPH with 3 - 3.5 hp depending on mods
With a few basic mods the NE-5 will have 4.5 hp and go 45-50+

NE -5 has bigger intake valve, high lift cam and bigger carb + it vents crankcase pressure better
Also NE-5 has a 90mm auto clutch. All this along whit some basic modifications the NE-5 comes to life

MY top speed on my NE-5 is 50mph and I cruise at 40 - 45 mph but with some serous mods others have pushed it to 60-65 mph
There also was an OVH valve kit made that got the Whizzer up past 70 mph


maybe @mason_man will chime in because the WC1 is his specialty
maybe he'll post pics of WC1 mods I'm sure that would be verry interesting to you

While the WC1 and NE5 engines are alike they have many differences and any NE5 mods I show won't help much
