Ok....here it is. Hopefully this is the last time I have to mess with this bracket. I check everything. The wheel spins smooth and stops on a dime.

Next question, it's steel....should I paint it the same color as the fork, or try and polish it to a nice shine?

It's not the most aesthetically pleasing bracket, but it works...

Jeff....I have a longer hose I am going to install. Do I have to bleed the brakes? I've never really dealt with hydraulic brakes before.

I hope to have the bike complete by this weekend. That was my plan this past weekend, but my father fell off of a wood deck and broke his back so...I have been a little preoccupied.

The seatpost is a 1" layback from Pat at Sportsmanflyer. I am currently welding my intake manifold and hope to have the motor mounted today....fingers crossed! I hope the manifold works. I am reusing the AGK one that is designed for mounted the motor horizontal. I just cut off the flange that mounts to the motor and rotated the manifold. So....we will see......

I'm still up in arms about my seat. I have a very comfortable schwinn cruiser seat but it looks absolutely hideous on the bike. My LBS has a black brooks seat, but I can't pull myself to spend $100 on a seat! It does look pretty sweet on the bike though. Decisions decisions decisions..........

If you do go Brooks, just make sure it's sprung, unless you also want to use it for birth control, LOL. I've had the unsprung B17s on 2 pedal bikes for a long time and I love them for pedaling, but it was unworkable on the motobike for me.

On the seatpost, that's a 1" post with a shim to 27.2mm or am I misunderstanding?

Yes, you are correct. I could not find a seat post that I liked that would fit the seat tube. So, I used a problem solvers shim I got off of Amazon. Works great!

And yes, the Brooks is sprung.
