The Moto Guzzi Trotter engine. It appears to be a real vario transmission, there are still lots in Italy, and it's nice and compact.

While I think, the little crossways fuel tank is rather neat as well.

I'm looking for a fuel tank for a late 60's early 70's model Moto Guzzi Trotter 40. Anyone know of one or a source to start looking?

The only thing I can recommend is to try Italian eVilbay or similar sites. What is the actual job, will another transverse tank do instead? There are oil tank kits you can buy.
