lockable gas cap?

That a real low life who would steal a 1/2 gallon of gas. Mixed with oil at that. Unless you are talking about vandals messing with you.
 
I was concerned more about some kids thinking it would be funny to pour soda in my gas tank than someone stealing the gas. You never know some people have messed up ideas of what is a joke.
 
Too bad they're out of stock.

I bought a locking gas cap from them. Good quality, works like a charm. Easy to make duplicate keys. The keyhole acts like a vent for the tank.

One small snag. The cap wouldn't sit and screw onto the bung. A few minutes' work on the tank's slots with a file fixed everything.
