Hey everyone,

I just finished my Mongoose conversion to a motorized bicycle. (c)

This thing is only 70 pounds full of fuel. rotfl

It even has a locking gas cap! :p

So, what do you think?

Very nice job I especially like the motor mount.

Looks good. Where'd you get that gas cap?

Locking Gas Tank Cap With Key

It is a scooter gas cap but it fits our HT tanks very well.

I also like the fact that no one can put the wrong fuel in it unless I give them the key! (^) :D

:D Thanks everyone for the thumbs up on the bike.

Here is what it looked like before the modifications to make the motor fit. :ride2:

I honestly didn't know you modified the frame until you said something. usually that means you did a good job :)

Re: 120 miles on new MB! Its a Mongoose!

(?)(^)What schooter comes with that gas cap let us know please! Who do I get one from?

Re: 120 miles on new MB! Its a Mongoose!

Good job on retooling the rear suspension to accomodate the engine. It's easier to find a deal on a used full suspension bike than a hard tail in a lot of places.
I have a Mongoose Zuma that I plan to motorize one day. It's an aluminum framed beach cruiser. Cheers
