OHHH awesome! shipping dates! This one may be better since it has a 100mm rear fork rather than the 60mm of the kickbike.

edit:

I change my mind. THe kick bike is better imho because overall height and size is tall and huge. THe pawtreker uses those cheesey handle bars to raise it up for an adult. THe Kickbike, it actaully tall enough that an adult can use drop-down bars.

Bowlman,
The guy didnt call me to buy the scooter but thats ok cause I wasn't planning on putting it up for sale anyhow.
I wouldnt be buying a scooter for the high prices on both those websites.
A BMX bike frame would be stronger & readily available on CL or at the recycle center.
Ideally, I would prefer to motorize a full suspension DH MTB frame with little 10"-12" scooter wheels, dual disc brakes, BMX 8" handlebar, chain drive & freewheel (maybe 3 speed hub).

I hope to, the scooters look like a ton of fun. My whole working on bikes at home thing is in jeopardy right now so I want to move, there are a lot of reasons to hate this place, so its gonna have to wait.

I just ordered 3 of the shorty mufflers for this Mitsubishi engine scooter like the 2nd pic on post #197.
Lets see if Gasbike.net comes thru....?

Yes,that thing looks like it would eat someone! It would probably throw me.

I got some one-way bearings for my 4g tranny(didn't help) from them last year,no problems. I had to take the chance,2 bearings for less than 1 from bicycle-engines? Come on.

Wow,
That is a beast...
I ordered another Mitsubishi 43cc 2 stroke & receive it today.
Now what to put it on???
Maybe do a full suspension stand up scooter out of one of the DH motorized bicycles, or another 2WD, 2 engine motorized bicycle?
Was also thinking about another motorized skateboard.

Hey low, could you help me out here? I've got the measurements for the tanaka 40cc engine converted to approximate inches but which one is the width from clutch to recoil?

LxWxH-171mmX256mmX270mm=7inLx10inWx11inH

Is it really 10 inches wide,or is that counting the shaft? Looks like it would be 7 inches wide when mounted on a bicycle.

I'm trying to put it in a frame, maybe with a SBP 4 stroke shift kit, just to get the chain over to the pedal side.

Edit: I will be using the L-mount gearbox,to mount it to the bike.

Oh,how about 12 inch wheels on a bmx with 26" disc forks? Solid no suspension for me. I say the longer forks so I can at least have some kiddie cranks on it. Try to keep it legal as a bicycle. I be able to use a disc brakes front and rear with a freewheel on the pedal side coming from the jackshaft of the shift kit mount, maybe even have room for an IGH jackshaft.
