Yeah.. I need to invest in a new rear rim... Chain tensioner before it was deleted tore a spoke out. Need to upgrade the rear rim to a less wide on anyways. Any ideas on where I could get a good rim for a decent price? Might go ask the bike shop down the road.
hay im a believer in the HUB ADAPTER for the bikes I wish they would give them in the kits LOL
Jordan, let me be the first to say you did a great job, not many young men these days that have the gumption or the mechanical ability to do all the things you've done since your bike project began.
Makes me proud to see you end up with such a nice bike, I hope it gives you many many miles of fun and reliable transportation, wish we didnt live so far apart, Id love to hit the back roads with one of my bikes and just go for a nice cruise.
Great job Jordan and I hope when you decide to do the #2 project you'll share that one with us just the same as you have with this one.
Thanks Shan, big shout out to you for answering my nonsense questions about basically every aspect of the engine itself! I think our PM's got into a little over a hundred. The bike is a blast just need to find some good areas to ride it in! Going to Illinois this weekend so I plan on thoroughly breaking it in this weekend! It'd be a blast to go on a ride! You ought to come up for the Midwest meet in the summer ha! Project #2 is already in the planning... Haha... Can't keep still for too long. I want to make a race bike and I am feeling some reeds and high octane on it!
yea great5 build very nice want to come work for me LOL I just put together a bike today
have you tried liquid tape???just "paint" it on a new mag coil REALLY thick let it dry for a day make sure you keep applying till there is no holes it should help them last longer I did that on my first one I had and it still to this day running great that was in 08'
well had a bike come back its a kent fixie bike the pedal stripped out cant figure that one out how could a pedal strip out????
It had to have gotten loose and then was riden like that for a while until the thread were wallerd out.
This is what I would suspect the ause to have been.
