Just wondering why the elevators are down on those planes. Doesn't the servos keep them at neutral? I've been away from R/C for a while. Maybe that's something new.

I think they do that so the planes look more like the "real airplanes" they emulate.

After I read your answer I remembered I used to do the same thing. Especially on the big 1/4 scale stuff. My Cessna 140 a good example. I'd let the elevator droop and a lot of times I'd park it and leave the flaps down...just cause I thought it looked neat.
