Got a few new parts for my indian powerplus project

Well it took quite a few months, but I finally got a rough mock up of my rear suspension together. Of course there's still a lot of remeasuring, recutting and refining to do, but I'm glad to be at this point in this project.

I guess a swing arm is forth coming just behind where the pedal crank would be. I know my bike would be a whole lot more comfortable using some rear suspension. The tire and tube is all I have, but beefed up the banana seat with extra foam. You could probably have a nice leather saddle seat that is for the period build. Springs under the seat to also help with the bumps along with those leafs! Nice going!

Thanks. I have a vintage saddle and a brooks seat that I'm deciding between. They're both sprung so it should be nice for the ride.

Update 7/16/19:

Hey guys, more work has slowly been done. We've finally hit the dry season here in Upstate NY so I've had to take advantage to work on some house repairs. Sadly I ran into some slipping issues with the rear suspension. I'm working on a fix for it right now, so hopefully it won't be an issue. I also made a change on the engine. I planned on using a v twin that was in the works, but I've had to shelve that for now. On the bright side I have an excuse to use a beautiful briggs flathead I had lying around. I managed to work out the kinks in the gearbox set up. However I made a slight miscalculation in the mounting pattern, but at least I have a decent mock up. I should have all of the bugs worked out in the next few weeks and hopefully in rolling condition.
