Great job Pat and team.Curious about the pedal side chain..did it get removed for saftey reasons?Does this effect any record rules.I only ask cuz of a photo that was posted and the pedal side chain was missing.Probly went so fast it melted...

Lot's of rules to run the salt. One rule was no functional pedal crank. Actually it's not an official rule but it was made mandatory for our bikes. I still wanted everyone to know these were motorized bicycles so I left the pedals and sprockets on the bikes, turned both crank arms to the rear to act as rear sets, removed the chain and locked the whole system out.
