I like NM motorized bike law, wish AZ was the same no mention of speed limit or engine size.

Good luck to you and your wife on your move and be sure to share some New Mexico motorized bicycle rides with us.

From what I've seen of N.M. it fairly flat so riding should be good, I just noticed you joined the forum in 2008 and have only posted 2 times. Don't wait that long to post again! I like a lot of members enjoy seeing pictures and videos of places people ride.

Op's sorry I used an old account I have only 44 posts but its better then 2 from the zuzu account  any way I really get to build the MB Ive all ways wanted and the speed limit for one is 30 mph thats a lot for a bicycle lol O all so speaking of being flat here we live down town so every thing is 10 min or less away I mean every thing from work to grocery stores, bank,UPS,FedEx,walmart, movie house,Amtrak station, flea market, and theres food every where mom and pop stands selling tamales, tacos, and mutin and lamb its cheaper then beef here everyone that has land has sheep we are real close to the Navajo and Zuni reservations and with my wife teaching the kids here witch everyone sees that as a gift to there children we have been offered to set up a home on reservation land BUT theres no darn landlines and we would half to get Satellite Internet with Vonege Internet phones because cell phones don't work out there
but to have a small farm is a dream come true so many good people here it really makes a person feel Humble.

That sound good, a lot of towns and city's have dedicated bike lanes, we don't here which is a shame. My wife and I were in Gulf Shores Alabama this past weekend and almost every street has bike lanes, the next trip I plan to take one of my bikes with us.

I've hauled my bike to New Mexico several times ---- mostly to the mountainous north central region. Never had any issues with law enforcement while there. Had lots of curious gawkers, though!!

Best of luck in your new adventure!!
