fine tuning the 66cc

the bike runs great!!will post pictures later .is the only tuning adjusting the needle in the carb.....my bike doesn't have good bottom end...is that because its a 2 srroke? again i only have less than 5 miles on it...rick

That screw is just for idle speed. You can try moving the C clip down one notch on the slide needle.

Plus after break in (100 miles or so) you will notice the engine runs better/smoother.

I am not sure Joe said what he meant. The needle clip most always needs to be in the top groove. Most come with it one groove down and the engine will be too rich at part throttle.

Ride the bike more & it will start to run better & better as it breaks in!! (Then worry about tuning it!)

One the throttle handle, the piece of metal the cable runs through, go to the end and loosen that nut part. This will shorten the throttle cable, and Ifound it gave me a little extra idle power I was looking for.
