Driven sprocket Question

Alright I am working on setting up a motor for a Bianchi San Jose model I have. I have a normal flipflop hub already on the bicycle and I am wondering is there any company that sells a reverse ratch-ing freewheel or a fixed wheel that I can bolt a larger sprocket to. I know that is a lot to ask, but I figured this is the best board for this kind of question.

I know they exist can't tell you where to find one though. The SBP shift kit has a free wheel at the peddle crank. Bets that's the free wheel ya need. Some folks here have done this cannot remember where? Its been far and in between to find it. The combo after getting a free wheel may have to buy the right size die. Then last thread the left side of the hub to match. Check Neat Times it was some where in here I think.

What type of engine and mounting system will you be using?

You need a wheel hub which will accept a left-hand threaded freewheel, such as this:

You also might want this larger sprocket which bolts onto the left-hand freewheel:

For a cheap fixed-wheel setup, you could use the ragjoint connector and sprocket, which comes standard on Happy Time engine kits.

Or you could have an aluminum sprocket adaptor made by Creative Engineering...

Or you could buy a disc brake wheel hub and machine your sprocket to bolt onto that...

or buy the "top-hat adaptor, which bolts onto the disc hub and #35 sprockets...

Or find sprockets which bolt directly to disc brake hubs:

These sprockets use the smaller #25 chain found on Staton's new axle-mounted kits:


I'm presuming that you COULD machine #35 or whatever sprocket to bolt onto the left-hand threaded freewheel.

Dawud, Welcome To The Forum. What Engine Setup Are U Using? You Can Not Drive The Flip Flop Hub From The Left Side, It Will Just Unscrew Under Power. It Is Meant For Two Different Sprocket Size`s For Two Speed On The Right Hand Side, Thus = Flip Flop Hub. If You Are Going To Pedal Start A China Girl The Free Wheel Won`t Work. Ron
