Cranbrook Springer Forked BTR YD100 Replica Build (without fabrication)

Just fun to watch Allen Millyard projects that none but he can pull off. The dude has deeper pockets than me for sure. But his builds are a wonderment to all that view them. Practically most of what he does I can do in me shop.
Welding? Not. But undisclosed is the design engineering Software that allows him to model his designs to 3D.
Fun to watch, and marvel what money can do.
Tom

Well new regulator worked so nicely, I got busy. Tank was welded, ground down, and brazed on each end. The brass filled in pinholes nicely. And the Filler bung and petcock nut have been silver soldered. Just need to file down the brass and silver a bit, check for leaks ( I’m real close) and finish the tank off. Pretty happy with the results so far

I’m a chain tensioner and some POR 15 tank sealer away from starting this baby up.

Only found one small leak on the final end of the tank. Brazed it up!!!

what else am I missing guys? Can’t put my finger on anything else. Almost down to finishing work.

Tom,
She looks pretty lined up and square to me. What do think?
From where I am sitting Primo!

Get everything laced up and take a couple photos. Cables the whole shooting match, drive train all in plain perspective.

OK here she is in all her glory, hope to have her running next week.

The walk around youtube was great. Chain line looks fine.
It was kind of you to include a photo of the brake strap assembly.
Treat it like an airplane on the first rides. A walk around, looking and checking everything. It is your prototype.
You assume all risk. You are a biker, so you know the game and the inherent risk.
I flew until it was stolen a QuickSilver MX Ultralight airplane. Flying to 12,000 ft. You got to know your machine.
Your life depends on your care with experimental.
Eipper Quicksilver - Wikipedia Wish I still had her.
Give er **** and see what comes off. I had Mona appraise your bondo blends.

Wow Tom, you’re crazier than I thought. Not sure I’d have the balls to go 12,000 feet high in that ultralight.

soon the Bondo will disappear. hopefully to never be seen from again. Still have lots of grinding, sanding and filing ahead of me. I’m afraid to ask what Mona thought of the bondo. Yikes !!!!
