I actually just used some brown vinyl on this one, I figured I'd try the vinyl first because leather is so expensive and I had this left over from something else. It turned out better than I was expecting, we'll see how durable it is.
That is 100% due to camera phone and flash in a dark garage. It's not shiny at all in person, the vinyl actually has a nice texture that imitates leather that can't be seen in the pictures either.I absolutely love the seat, great job..... But if you don't mind me saying it looks a little too shiny. I wonder if some matte shoe polish would help???
Yea, that's pretty much what my plan is for the valve cover area and than topping it off with this finned head or another one if I find someything better looking.Youve probably seen this but, Another way to make the head look old is do it the same way as the Dixie Flyer did it, and it doesn't look very difficult at all. His was a GC160 rather than the GX160 but I'm sure they are the same in te cylinder
