50s style first build..

I am really liking the way this build is going. You are a very fast builder. I can't believe the transformation so far

Thanks... when you got time,then... Well, i´m working in transport, and in theese times, its some "deadtime/vacuum" in the business, before more action happens near Christmas. So i got time now, and try to do as much as possible before just living on the road again....
...worst part is f.ex tires, etc. will not be in my location before Xmas time, so it cant be completed before.....(goes by ship to Norway from US)

Mounted the tank-half , the rear fender and fork is on together with seatpost, and its beginning to look like a bicycle again!

begin to complete the cycle again.....

NO!!! Thats a renovated Eaton M90,and done finished with reworked manifold to put on my ´50 Chevy Fleetline Custom!!! Just awaiting carb,water/meth injection,etc...
(its was the waiting for the parts, who did my interest & build of the bicycle...needed some to do....) ;-)

man that is an awesome car!!!!! I absolutely love the fins on the back. I see that you are matching the color schemes. I can't wait to see both of them complete and side by side

Thanks! a lot of work with the car, was pretty crappy when get it, but begins to be really ok now! If i needed a trip to f.ex. Spain tomorrow (approx.1800miles? =3200km,one way), give me 30min, and the car is ready. Then its me..... I uses it all year round, also in snowy cold temperatures, and great to drive.

hopefully the Cyclebike also will as reliable...

did the ghainguard today after work. ready & painted! started repairing the old tail reflex, and reworked it with LED to a tail light..

Then the both tankparts are fixated in place where they should be, painted the theme scallops, painted & pinstriped front rim test, and mounted the rear taillight! It begins to be like my plan.....!!

BNot yet, the guy aint easy....as my friend said. If i dont get any respons in a few weeks, i think some Zundapp engine are bought in Germany, by another friend in there. Made in 51´, ment to be used on bicycle or mopeds of that era. 2gears, wireclutch ,all complete & running engine (tested) Got quite big cooling fins on the cylinder, even its only 49ccm. Gonna look bigger than it is then....

And silverbear...thanks for your "thumb up". as i understand, youre quite well known reputation in this type of motoring. At least what i see on the forum (s), and appreciation for your feedback!

the colors you chose, and how you used them, are very cool !!!
you are building a beautiful machine (^)

Dis a little more this days! Crank, pedal, lights, etc.

Also found that the hub are F&S Tornado, and the bike is build in 1954!

Quite OK!! he,he.
Well, i did wanted an 50s cycle, because of the laws of motoring in Norway, to be using it as a vintage. Then its no registration as long as the engine is under 50ccm, as following the rules of the time the cycle was built. (what i do,or which enginesize im using...thats something i hope they dont understand....if i get some bigger ngine in.. :-)
And to have two nice drivers in 50s style, aint no excuse to be unhappy.....

Thanks a lot, charliechaindrive, for ypur positive comment!

Fast....well, it was quite an easy project when the idea was sketched out..
I got a well filled garage with tools, welder, grinders, blaster, powdercoater, paintsystem, edge roller, etc. And when did a little planning . f.ex. cleaning & grinding, some parts was put in de-rusting bath. Powdercoating fixes it self in the oven when sandblasting the rest. Parts was painted main color between other doing, then montage, and some relaxed time with the scallop scheme & pinstriping (approx. 6 h) with some music entertainment... sewed a new seat (2-tone) was one of the parts that took some time, because aint no specialist on the sewing, and some had to be done by hand with needle and use of a gripper........
And between the normal stuff, working (lucky enough not full time this last time)
etc....

He,he....it then looked to be quite easy..but when trying to remember, i´d say approx. 60-80 h has been used to get it nearly ready, awaiting the tires, and doing the electrical and the motorizing......

But now i got to cool down a little while, because a guy needs some help with mechanical stuff on a Cadillac.............duh.
