Ok finally done (I think)
Huasheng 4-stroke from gasbike (storm kit) chain drive gearbox lasted about 50 miles (threads on clutch bell sheared off) So I decided to put a 4G on it. Big difference, nice and quiet. Almost 400 miles on the 4G and no problems.

Excellent! Nice job with sweet finishing touches like the oil drain tube that Bill mentioned and the tension roller mounted to the engine mount plate. Good idea on the wood conversion on the chain guard making it fit the larger chainring and the large tank is a plus too. I'm sure it rides like a dream, cruising 30mph all day....cheers!

great build! What is the average/top speed with that engine?
Thanks guys,
obd1, I started out using a 50t that came with the kit, but too high rpm's cruisin at about 20mph so I tried a 40t and got it up to 35 but, low end was too slow seemed like it was too hard on the engine off the line. So I went with a 44t and its just right for cruisin at 20mph, tops out around 30+mph.

The drain hose is made by drainzit model# HON1010. You can get them at Amazon for $13.99+ shipping in case you guys are interested.
