J jazz2561 Member May 22, 2015 #1 Does anyone know how to remove the carb dowel pins on a 212cc predator? I need to make a custom manifold and I need to either shorten, or completely remove the carb dowel pins. Is there a way to thread holes once dowel pins are removed?

scotto- Custom 4-Stroke Bike Builder May 22, 2015 #2 You must have the Hemi head 212cc (newer model) engine.....none of my 212's have dowels on the carb manifold, sorry I can't help you on this one. You should be able to tap the holes with the proper sized metric tap.
