212cc carb dowel pin removal?

Does anyone know how to remove the carb dowel pins on a 212cc predator? I need to make a custom manifold and I need to either shorten, or completely remove the carb dowel pins. Is there a way to thread holes once dowel pins are removed?

You must have the Hemi head 212cc (newer model) engine.....none of my 212's have dowels on the carb manifold, sorry I can't help you on this one.

You should be able to tap the holes with the proper sized metric tap.

Vice grips if you don't care about ruining the studs.
Double nuts as in lock two nuts together to not ruin the studs.
