Un Velocar Horizontal

Bonjour mes amies :)

This plan is an interesting one because it's a tadpole recumbent trike with the frame and suspension built entirely from wood (except for the very necessary screws, bolts & etc).
I knew this plan was around somewhere on a French website and it took me some little while to track it down. Unfortunately I don't have the magazine from which this plan was taken, but I think it was one of a series published in 1947.

I would have never been able to figure out how that steering works without the plans. Having the crankset between the front wheels did not allow conventional steering gear.
 
Gosh, these are great old plans!

I can't hardly wait until IWW gets to browsing the Italian and German sites!
