Yes I have sat on it and it appears it would be very highly unlikey pants could ever get in there that deep and get caught even if they were to get close.. I have an idea for a guard for just the front drive clutch..I have no concern about the rear driven clutch at all..

I have the leftover fuel pump from my GC190 if you can use it..Brand new of course..It is yours for free if you want it..

This is todays little project..I went over to a guy I know that is kinda the local antique Tractor salvage..Got this old headlight. Put a modern LED in it.. He had one of those too..Looks pretty good so far for the 13.00 spent on it. Next week the tail light should be here, and will show that..It is pretty cool..Thanks

I had a really similar light on my first bike right up until I went around a corner fast right into a gate lol. I went over the gate and the bike didn't. Shattered the headlight amd busted the bucket. Otherwise the bike was unharmed.

Oh yeah.

Have many stories and injury's from those dirt bikes..Fun but hurtful memories..LOL

I will likely never even ride this one at night..But the lights are supposed to be there..So they will be.

Have not even figured out exactly how I will power them.. Probably just make a little battery box to hide a little deep cycle battery from a kids ride on toy.. I am still considering running a little Kubota type alternator with a belt off the jackshaft.. But probably not really necessary for my needs..I think the LEDS would run several Hours or more off the little battery alone. Any ideas on a charging system are surely welcome...Thanks

I personally plan to use 12V drill batteries from harbor freight to power my lighting system. They're rechargeable and compact. Just gotta make a habit of pulling the battery and charging it every night.

Todays update..Bought one of those Lipo type batterys made by NOCO..Reading about them they should hold full charge throughout the whole cycle before the lights would dim..Expensive little battery but I think it will be good.. Made a battery tray and mounted it up under the seat.. Very near finishing up when the tail light gets here and I make a mounting bracket for that.. I will actually somewhat sad it is done..Now what will I do,LOL

I always say this is the last time.. I have done so many Cars,MC, Firearms and many more projects in my life..It is just time I downsize my projects related to my age..Time to start spending more time with the Kids, Grandkids and such I think..But you never know I guess..I never even had a thought of doing another till I seen this frame at a Garage Sale and thought it needed me,LOL
