I had been having problems getting full disengagement of the manual 3D clutch. The internal throttle turned clutch didnt have enough mojo to move the the short couple in the system. My for now, solution is to more than double the arm length from pivot point to lever end. Bit of welding and support fabrication which I admit doesnt look very good; but I think I have something that will give me full control over the clutch. I can now move it with one finger. !!!

No unwraping till assembly time!! The motor is a Honda GX100 I WAS going to use in the Merkel. Just too dang small for the space in that frame.

I almost went with a 190 but after riding this 160 its got way more power than brakes and that makes me nervous. I just geared it down some and you could do the same with the 190 Keep the top speed a bit lower.

Actually want to do another Indian build but am thinking about t 190 for the "08" Merkel build. I still have the Worksman wheels with front drum brakes and a Puch rear drum (which is much bigger) that will get laced into the rear Worksman rim I am a little bigger so I think the 190 will pull me down the road pretty good.

The engine is actually a little older and some tarnishing on a little of the aluminum case but still new so my son said he'd clean it up and bring it out next visit. I am thinking Hard about putting it in the 1908 Merkel Frame.

Thanks guys. I wont be working on it at all for the next week. Its WAY too hot in the garage to be working. Kind of stuck till we hit a cool patch in the weather.
