Tried to do some research but didn't really dig anything up. I was just curious if anyone managed to fit a 49cc 4 stroke kit into a 24" cruiser frame? I'm a little on the short side and I feel like a 24" bike would be a better for me. I currently have a 2 stroke kit on a 26", but it still feels just a wee bit tall to me. Any help, photos, links, etc would be greatly appreciated.

It would depend on the cruiser, how much room you have. Old ones have more room, could always take it to a welding shop and have a new drop tube fitted. I have a old Monark frame and i think a 49cc would fit in it.May have to take the tank and all off..........Curt
Yeah, I'll try to hunt down some measurements and take a gander. I'd be curious to see a few pictures if anyone's done it. I've seen the 2 strokes used, and they look pretty tight already. Might just have to find a 26" with a low seatpost, or chop it down myself..
I made a Briggs powered 24 on an older felt, single top tube. Now, like curt said I cut and weld a different down tube that lowers and moves the engine forward. A nice frame is the Electra. The seatpost is a lot lower then. Look up Electra build GX100'. I'm 5-8 and both feet are flat on the ground when stopped.

As long as you have on to ride, take your time and do it right. Maybe even find a old school frame, i got a swap meet one for $20, Monark rocket, they sorta already have a curved drop tube. If you are going to use the 4G you can tip it up at a angle and maybe gain some room, they bolt on with 4 bolts, and can be re drilled. I think KC has some done like that, do some studying. ......Curt
Yes, you can redrill new 4G mount holes to alter output if desired, or in these cases required with my 4G long shaft shifters.
24" wheels but a 26" ride with those 3" Kenda balloon tires.
The Fito is is no longer made or available anywhere, I have tried as they were a bargain at ~$350 to propagate, and Don and I talked about a Grubee GT gas tank frame with a rear disc brake mounts he did it it, and it was was great!
It made for some cool bikes ;-}
