I've been contemplating running one of these at this next race......hmmm.

I'm pretty sure it would perform just like my clutch set-up which takes advantage of the engines compression for braking. It should only freewheel when you pull on the lever to disengage the clutch....same as any manual clutch on a motorcycle.

Nice! I didn't know it was a manual clutch. My son's race was cancelled last minute and I was thinking of making the trip. The weather here was bad so I thought it was bad there. Wrong! My bike is finally fixed and collecting more dust. Hopefully I'll see the old gang at the next one. Hey Ken, we always have great weather at the races!
Derek didn't race so he could video the Ultimate race which was
too bad because that would have been a battle that he may not
have won as usual. Motorized bikes took the top 3 places but it
was on the full track in reverse of what we were racing that day.
We miss you so be there on Sat April 1st 2017 back at Grange.

Thanks Ken, had a blast, nice to have some competition for a change as of late!
We miss you at the track and look forward to seeing you in April this next year!! Maybe I'll have the manual clutch then to get the hole shot, we shall see.
