2 part epoxy. I hope it holds.

If not I'll ask my friend what they use...automotive grade stuff for bonding....I'd expect two part epoxy to soften when hot somewhat like a plastic. Not sure on all of em though

You do that with antique restored Whizzers??

OK well not, but that engine could do well for its displacement climbing hills on tar covered asphalt. Smoothness and speed and great acceleration, Yippe!
