Making it up as I go

I sure would like to how to do this etching, would it be possible the explain the whole process in detail ?
 
Much Thanks. I'll be be doing tank badges as well and had planed on taking some in progress shots with a little more info on, maybe this weekend. It wasn't that hard but the acid is pretty nasty stuff and requires the same level of precaution as any other shop tool that can take a finger.
 
I have really enjoyed looking at all the hard work and creativity involved in your build, and I was just hoping for a little update.

I may be able to provide a little insight on the legalization process. Mine is now semi-legal.
 

This was an older video but not everyone was able to watch it so I moved it off Facebook. With any luck it works now.

Love the kickstand! I just spent the better part of the weekend on a similar one but I think I like yours better!
 
Thanks. I went back and forth on the type and till I spotted one with an offset pivot and no truss .
Here's how the headlight turned out


and we got a new toy at work.
 
That light started life as a cup for a spray gun. Just needed a little brass and a whole lot of spit n polish.
