Just got this engine the other day and don't know much about it. It came unassembled. I had to mount the carb. and air cleaner. It wasn't much to do though. It has a button on the back side of it. Does anyone know what this button is for? It looks like an integrated kill switch.
 
Hey AV, I don't know anything about this motor as well can you post a photo of the button in question?

I'm sure someone will know what it is
 
It's the yellow button. I still have not hooked this engine up yet. So I don't know what it is. It might be a while before I can hook it up to my shifter build. Thanks

It's the kill switch (or button if you will). It comes right off the coil and sends it to ground when pushed and held down.
