Everywhere I go I bring my camera with me. I like to take scenery pictures and include the road I'm traveling. I call them "road pics", and I've decided to share one or two each week.
You read my mind. I'm putting together a list of my favorite places and I'm going to retake the pics with my bike (maybe other bikes too) in the foreground.
Here is one of my road pics. When the Spanish El Conquistador came through this area they called this Helmet Peak because to them it looked like their helmets.

This time of year is great in Vegas, isn't it..
Around here my road pics would be dark, wet, with patches of snow and a bunch of potholes.
I loved it out west, lived in Utah for 5 years and Phoenix for 2, the winters in Phoenix were the nicest time of year.
Here in Nohio, winter is a time of hibernation and heavy drinking.
