Here is part of an email that I received form Keith in Michigan:
"Looking to mount a 66cc China girl in an Electra Townie 7D, the down tube is 1.74 in. And the seat tube is 1.33 in. I am putting a centrifugal clutch in the motor and a Pull start, so I'd like to keep the motor back and out of reach of the pedals if possible and above the chain guard".
He sent me a basic design of what he was looking for with minimal dimensions and I machined a custom engine mounting system from 6061 aluminum that meets his needs. I took the liberty of beefing up his design a little, and of course I included a set of BikeBobber Smart Engine Clamps.
I can make custom parts of any kind all day long and send the finished product to where ever you are. Bicycles are only one part of my business. I am http://www.bikebobber.com and I am http://www.thefabmaster.com. I want to make parts for you.

I bought a HD Lightning CDI a couple months ago and I had it temporarily mounted with tape and zip ties. Yesterday I decided it is time to properly secure it to the bike so I reinstalled the stock CDI while I work on a new mounting bracket. The frame is powder coated so I won't be doing any welding on it, and I hate drilling holes in the aluminum. I looked at every tube, every bend on the bike and decided to put it right back on the down tube where I had it to begin with. This is what I came up with today.
