Ok, thanks for info, I will check around for those different size jets. If I can't find any maybe I will attempt to drill one out with a wire gauge bit. Is it a bitc h to do? I hate to have to go back to the stock NT. But I know I don't want to blow another top end and I'm still totally sold on the Dax balanced bottom end. I'm not ready to give up on this one yet, I guess I will replace the top end

. I only wonder why it took so long to fail if it was jetted too lean to begin with. Maybe it just reached a breaking point as it started running hotter and hotter?
It is very easy to solder and drill the jet,
#1) wire gauge bit set
#2) pin vise for hloding the bit or dremel type rotary tool at low rpm
#3) propane torc or if you have an electric cook stove in your home you could set the jet on it and test the temp with the solder every few seconds until it will melt a very samll amout into the fet hole and then immediately remove jet off cook top.
Besure you have sprayed thr jet off real good with carb cleaner so that there isn't an oil residue or the solder may not stick, also the best way I have found to make sure you dont end up with to much solder it the jet is to use the small thin wire solder and then what I do is I cut a piece about 1/8" long and lay it in the hole of just, I dont solder inside the threaded part of jet just hold it with pliers or sit it on cook top with threads down and lay the small piece of solder on jet hole and as soon as it is heated enough with either torch or cook top so that the solder melts into jet hole remove from heat, over heating the jet will destroy it, I melted one one time not paying attention and held the heat on it a little to long....lol!
I buy my wire gauge bit set from widgetsupply the entire shootin match will only run about $6 if I remember right.
Easy way to tune the carbs just go one size at a time and tes on clean spark plug each time to get a good plug chop/reading looking for a nice medium chocolate brown color and only a bit of 4 stroking at lower speed at part throttle and then none at medium+ throttle and on hills.
I know I sound like a broken record on this topic but im telling you straight up that if you want the best protection and best overall performance from your china girl, get her drinking Opti2 and she will be a strong healthy young lady.......I have run mine at wide open throttle which is over 8000 rpms and 45-48mph for 7-8 mile stretches with no problems, that engine is running a well tuned NT carb and a straight pipe exhaust...... loud and crazy but it hauls tail and I'm running Opti2 @100:1 runs cool and fast.....!
Myself and many others here have proven the stuff just plain works and protects the engine plain and simple, I highly recommend it because it had engin failures using other "high quality 2 smoker oils and not one failure sinc going to Opti2 and the engines im running now are much stronger and high compression than the ones that failed on other oils.
Mix it right.
Tune the carb.
And enjoy the ride when you have Opti2 on your side...!
