Hey everyone, I may have added an ounce or 2 more of oil in my fuel mix. I think thats why my exhaust is smokin a bit. Should I empty tank and make a new mix? or will it be ok to use?

I run a mix of 32 to 1 and see smoke from the exhaust I run pipes with mufflers and they tend to collect oil in the muffler that will smoke until the whole exhaust gets hot enough to burn out or blow out the excess oil residue
too much oil will carbon up the engine and that is not good.
What you did shouldn't hurt the engine just don't make a habit of adding extra oil.
With the colder weather the engines will tend to smoke more no big deal you will just leave a smoke trail if there is a way to color that smoke I'd like to know red smoke or green would kind of be cool anyone know how to color the smoke from the exhaust?

Well I know you use organic colored dye mixed with KNO3 (potassium nitrate aka saltpeter) to make a smoke bomb, so maybe dissolve some dye into the gas and see what happens? Maybe add a little KNO3 in there too for some more smoke?

edit: Dang, nevermind. What additive to use to make coloured smoke? - FlyingGiants Forums

and from what I've been reading, making it colored requires lots of dye (usually toxic) and it stains everything it touches...

bummer.
