Inagural Dirt Track Race

Hey Jake cool video. How did the bikes hold up, that type of racing could play **** on a back wheel.

I may have to do some gear changes on my bikes so I can get it sideways...lol

Cool video, looks like lotsa fun.

We are going to get to play on a dirt and asphalt oval at
the Saturday Sept 1st SoCal Motor Bicycle Race at Willow
Springs after 5pm.

Then at 7pm there will be auto drag racing on the big track,
you can take your car out for $15. Sorry no bikes allowed.

Hey Jeff, I was shocked at how smooth the course actually is. It's no motocross track at all. And Unlike all the road races, My bike had no problems whatsoever. The racing is super fun and highly addictive!
The promoter and owner of the Perris Raceway is a great guy, and he has created a class for us bicycles because of it. The crowd was very receptive, and he said as long as we bring more racers he'll keep the class in the program! so please bring your clan! Come one, come all and join us on August 11th AND 12th for some good ol fashioned racing at Perris Raceway.

and thanks on the video!

Heck ya Man! You'd kill it!
come up on Aug 11th & 12th double header weekend. We need more riders for sure. good riders at that. I am gonna try to make saturday, but My baby mama is ready to make me a daddy this week, so we'll see if i actually get a hall pass. fingers crossed!

That looks like so much fun!! Can you get enough speed to flick it into some two wheel drifts in the corners? I would like to try that, but would be afraid of sliding into a rut and high siding it. I liked how the lights kept showing your shadow in the vid. Good job! I'm hooked!!!

Here is a pic of Dave Rust who was a pro dirt track 1/2 mile racer on Yamaha's

Dave said that he was going about 45 mph flat out around the oval.
