I used to love shootin thru downtown on Elm St. in a big truck, all the lights are syncronized at 30 MPH and you land right back on the freeway at the other end or just hang a left on Houston and go over the viaduct. Never seen that bridge have a traffice backup.

Goin thru downtown in a big truck sure turns heads I'm sure a MB would have the same attention. Plus you get to see a lot of beautiful women LOL!

We are going to meet in AA parking lot and will ride Katy Trail and end back at the Ice House. Evening ride, so it should be a little cooler and only take 45 minutes. The ice cold drinks may take longer though....

That just goes to show that everyone that rides on 2 wheels likes the same thing. Get up a group ride, and ride to a bar lol. Same as the HOG club.

These guys might be a little too ambitious for me. A 2 mile ride straight up the Katy trail to a bar, and then 2 miles back, all downhill lol.

Take the Knox-Henderson exit off 75N turn right (East) it's about a 1/2 to 3/4 down on the right at a red light intersection...if you guys park your bikes on the outside rail next to the picnic tables you're gonna get all kinds of attention. It's also got tons of old arcade games to play (Hence the name Barcadia).

It is about a half mile or so from lower Greenville Ave.

Thanks George, I've never noticed that place before, but it's deffinitly in my riding zone. I think the Atomic BB lowrider would get a lot of attention in that neighborhood.

Biknut, start an MB ride featuring one of those places. I'll try to go.
The reception I got after riding to the Bastille celebration was so good, I'm thinking it's better for us to ride to events that draw a big crowd. That way we get to kill 2 birds with one stone.

We get to have fun riding somewhere, and we get to promote motor bicycles by exposing them to large crowds of people at the same time. All we need to do is ride into the crowd, and nature will take care of the rest.

It would probably be a good idea if we make some flyers or cards mentioning this website. That would save us a lot of time explaining everything over and over.

I'm looking for the next event to ride to now. If anyone has any suggestions feel free.

Hey, order a large stack of business cards with all of the info. They are cheap and effective. Then send me a small stack because I've had quite a bit of attention recently.

I think that's a good idea. I'll let you know if we make cards.

Where were you getting this attention, tell us about it?

Mostly while riding and a few times when I was fishing because the bike follows with me. Then again, fly fishing in a city park tends to draw attention in itself. We also have a booming tubing industry so there are tons of people near the rivers and city parks, the easiest fishing access.

Maybe you can get into business trucking the floats back upstream. That is easier than taxiing people (no license needed).

I just print flyers on MS paint and use regular paper, print "cards" 4 to 1 sheet. Most people discard them, so I won't spend much. Cards are nice though.

Maybe you will get an interview with a news channel. The media is pretty hostile most of the time, but often enough they like vehicles such as MABs, and might treat us right, especially if we are mingling with some other festival they are promoting or writing about.

Just go cruising around the parking lots of six flags or any sporting event where people walk to the gates to get to...over at the new Cowboys Stadium they have peddle bike ricskaws to haul people from the parking lots.

I'm guessing you're near Canyon lake.

First week in July I was taking my jon boat to the portion where I live thinking I was going to clean up the river. I have since pulled nearly 100 pounds of cans from 300 square feet of river bottom and literally wore out a can crusher and I'm only about halfway through.

I'm going to be needing a whole fleet of motorized bicycles pulling 6x10 trailers for the amount of traffic we get on the weekends. Tempting idea though.

Edit: No, I'm in San Marcos.
