Yeah i cant wait to see what Goldy does with this.... he builds some very nice bikes and he comes up with great ideas to keep his costs down.

His 1913 bike gave me a lot of inspiration and it doesnt get anywhere the attention it deserves..... Keep up the great work Goldy..... and i hope you get some spare time to work on the merkel

Sorry Truckd.... like i said i wasnt trying to bust your balls.... i think i took your quote of your bike being the "best period authentic buid a little too literally.

Its good that you are wrapped with your project, but i thought you were claiming your build to be the best out there.

Harry... the Fyling Merkel that I have will deffinately be the closest mimic'ing merkel I've ever seen and although there are a lot of really tuff looking bikes out there, there really is nothing that comes closer looking to the real Flying Merkel then the one Adam Montanye built for me.
You are deffinatly intitled to your opinion, I ain't mad at ya
Peace! Brotha
And a shout out to Goldy cooool! build

Hey! if you's guy's wanna see an older posted thread of a bike I did earlier this year go to the Ol' Blue thread and check it out after I get my Boardies done I'm gonna get another, it is a Macargi stretched Huntington Beach Cruiser, Midnight blue, I wanted a vintage looking cruiser bike but yet new too and let me tell ya this bike is high quality material not to mention all the stuff I did to it.
I do love a boardie and just picked a Dan Taylar BTR and if? you's guy's that want a better then nice tracker check him out(yes harry it isn't done either, so I won't post it until I know I can get your full approvel)

I never questioned you about putting up unfinished bikes (have you seen how many unfinished bikes i have LOL).... i was questioning your slightly arrogant (IMO) statement that your bike was the best out there...... Man i love your bike but they are some big claims..... maybe i over-reacted but im sick of this back and forth argument so im bowing out ......

So YES Trucked...... YES your bike is the best bike out there

Hey! Harry
AHH! Man, Nobody likes a quiter (LOL) some one on this forum once said "A good bike isn't cheap and a cheap bike isn't good" and I take that to heart,my Dad always bought my brother and I Schwinn's so I won't except anything other then quality and when you get a good product you want to show it off ( sometimes you have to be a bit of a visionary when you build a bike) ,and this forum is surely all about showing off what you got. Aren't you glad it wasn't another two wheeled lawn mower HA!HA!HA!
I will post as the build progress's but I will admit it will be a minute before I can get to it as I have a Bad @$$ Sportsmanflyer to attend to first, I will post my ego Ah I mean bike as it too progress's

MMMM i aint no quitter LOL....."A good bike isn't cheap and a cheap bike isn't good"? That is true to a point but i cant afford a Schwinn or a Morini so i guess i will continue to build "two wheeled lawnmowers" and you can continue being a "visionary" assembling bikes with the dearest name brand parts laff

Im glad you didnt 'quit' Harry, this is just too good.
So let's just get this straight, Truckd, you are currently in process with a Flying Merkel replica, a Dan Taylar BTR & a Sportsman Flyer? haven't you forgotten someone? (Helmutt)
It seems you are currently running the gamut of the cream of board track racer tribute bikes, I applaud your good taste in MB's. You are truly a great visionary & an asset to this forum, no, not just this forum, but the whole world.
