Did anybody else notice that the supplied clutch cable with the chinagirl 2 stroke engine is REALLY long?

How do you go about shortening the cable so there isn't so much slack?

Since one end is open is all you need is a cable cutter, pretty much just a small bolt cutter, but a big one will work.

Give yourself about 6" of inner cable at the handle on the handlebar, then route the otter jacket at the handle to where you want and cut both.

When you push the inner cable back in to the handle you have your 6" of inner cable for the clutch cover arm end all nice and neat.

Ok i figured it out... just take some pliers and pull the metal cap off the opposite end of clutch lever barrel, then cut the cable accordingly

Cutter tool, like both cutters. Fast and nest or you have tring to use little hand tools like tin snips or side cutter.

Tried to warn you...
Hand tools suck with cable.
It's a Bolt Cutter like tool in fast motion to keep it all clean and un-frayed.

Dremel tool with a cutoff wheel.... or a hack saw.
I find dremel tool with cutoff disk works a treat on the steel sleeved cables however, the teflon lined cables tend to 'close over' a small drill bit manually turned into the end usually fixes this...
