Cool man, I'd love to see it. That 125 is gonna be scary. I rode to work today. First time since I finished this install. It is freakin' awesome. I love this engine. Looked like all of the cagers I was staying with, and even passing, in the 45 and 50mph zones were likin' it too. I passed a city cop on the way home, no problems. He just gave me the normal stare, like he was thinking, "What the heck is that?"

And here is somemore. You can see the headlight, turn signals, and horn control on the left hand side. The right side still uses the kit kill switch as the start button and I added a kill switch on the right side. Both hand brakes have switches for the brake light. Lots of wireloom.
that is one beautiful bike i love what you did with this build just pushed the envelope all to **** .
i was wondering where you got the chrome throttle control for your master piece. i've been looking for one and cant find it how ever i did find a a chromed out left side control for turn sigs, horn, and lights.
here's the link: Chrome finish plastic left accessory control. & http://www.partsforscooters.com/Accessory_control_109-8?sc=2&category=79030 just in case you were interested .brnot

The grips came with the original HS Hoot GB engine kit that I installed on this bike. Sorry man, no special place I can send you on that one. I ordered the kit from gasbike.net early last year. If you contact them, they might be able to get you some. But hey, I appreciate the compliments and the interest. I really like that chrome switch you used. I would probably change to that if I didn't have a headlight with high/low. You have sent me on the search, though. That would look much better to have chrome switch housings. Thanks.

Civlized, hows the Chinese Cloned Horizontal Honda crf 50cc ATV Engine / Stretch Cruiser build running anything updated or changed on this build.

Well you've had it all summer how has it performed & what bugs if any have you had to workout if any?

Any plans on a second build maybe a Trike Stretch Cruiser Build or Stretch Cruiser with sidecar build?

Peace Crazy Horse.

Look at this old thread revived! Thanks for remembering me. This is my favorite bike, ever. I have enjoyed this thing so much that I ended up selling my motorcycle and scooter because this is all I ride. I really haven't had many problems. I did have some kind of crazy squeaking sound that I thought was the engine. It turned out to be the jackshaft. Noises like that drive me insane, so I had to find it and fix it. I have worn out 3 rear tires and two front tires. I changed the cable driven speedometer from the cheap plastic one to a whizzer. I like it much better. I have played with the gearing a little and I have finally got the 1 gallon tank painted and installed. I can't remember if I informed you of changing the front disc brake from a cable pull to a hydraulic. The next plan is to change the band brake on the back to a disc. I absolutely love this bike. The biggest problem I have is people. I don't mind talking about it at gas stations or wherever, but I don't like almost getting run over because they are paying more attention to the bike than driving. So far, all is well. What about you CH? Did you get any of your builds completed?

Civilized that is awesome. I got my son one of those chinese four wheelers for christmas this year, picked it up from a friend for 250, it was very hard not to tear it down lol. any way i rode it down the road to the inlaws house with just a straight pipe it was almost scary. Anyways im thinking of doing one on an occ. it will have to be a long term project for me but i know it will be worth it. You have a really nice bike and now i know that it can be done one is definitely in my future .mbv.

Thanks Tim! I can tell you that you will really enjoy it if you do. It took me several months just doing a little at a time. I am finished with kit engines, there is no comparison.

Alright, I have to report my first failure with this bike. I was riding along going to work last week. I was passing by a cemetary and looking to the left as I was riding. I guess I was thinking about when I will end up there. Anyway, as I'm riding and looking, BAM!! My back tire goes airborne and scares the crap out of me. I slowed down to get a feel of the bike. Everything seems ok, so I carry on to work being very cautious and thinking I caught a squirrel or something. When I arrived at work, I backed into a parking spot and started to put the bike on it's bipod stand, only to find that it is gone! I guess I found out what sent my tire up. Guess I overlooked that bolt when I did a quick service check.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. I looked all over the area on my way home that afternoon. It was gone. I ordered another that arrived this past weekend that I like better anyway. It's adjustable!

Glad to hear it didn't knock ya down. (You make big trouble ford moose or squirrel?)

Just a side thing, I been useing muffler sealer instead of loctight on every thing. Works really well and is cheap. What made me think of it was first time I tried other then on a bolt you would think of, I used it on the brandy new uber cool center mount kick stand. Cheap, easy to get off and holds well.

Just glad your OK an' congrats on the build going so well except for the minor

Hey Dan! Good to hear from ya. I'll have to try the muffler sealer, thanks. I hope you have been doing well.
Just in case you're curious for a baby update. She is fat, happy, and has started teething. She is getting really good coordination and smiling all of the time. She has ended up looking like me.(according to everyone else) I was hoping she would look like her mother and act like me. Oh well, maybe she can look and act like me!

Civlized, as for my current builds they are progressing very slowly more money is going out right now than coming into our bank accounts.

However, I have slowly been adding more parts & components to my current inventory such as:
2-Loncin 70cc Chinese cloned Honda CRF 50cc horizontal engines,
1-Lifan 110cc engine same as above,
1-Loncin 50cc engine with built in pedal power same as above engines.

5-Greenline stretch cruisers,
1-XYZ BIKES XL Chopper,
1-Schwinn OCC Stingray Chopper.

All the above listed bikes will be powered with an chinese cloned honda horizontal 4 stroke engine.

BTW, could you please share a pic & more info about your new bi-pod kick stand & where you purchased it? Didn't you use bicycle-engines.com heavy duty dual drive rear wheel with band brake on your build?

Any plans for another build over the winter in store for you maybe a three wheel Stretch Cruiser Trike maybe?

Did you ever find the Honda CT 70 controls with the pins in the brake levers which will activate your brake light? I bought two sets off flea-bay for my builds.

Peace Crazy Horse.

FYI, anyone contemplating a build with a Chinese cloned Honda 4-stroke horizontal ATV, Dirtbike/Pitbike engine such as the type used by Civlized & ipaint on their Stretch Cruiser builds then you really should checkout BarelyAWake's Thread Alternate 4 Stroke Engines:
Here's BarelyAWake's thread just click here on the Link:
http://motorbicycling.com/f37/alternate-4-stroke-engine-list-19630.html

Here's a pic of the controls with the pins in the brake levers:

In this pic my finger pointing shows the pin the actuates your brake lights:

Civlized, if you are still looking for the brake lever assembly / controls, PM me if you'd like to purchase my extra set @ my cost plus shipping.

P.S. Please post some current pic's & get someone to video you riding this build post em on facebook or youtube, and where you ordered your new kick stand from, THX!

Last but not least congrats again on ur lil Angel, maybe you'll need to add a side car for her to cruise with her daddy!!!!
