Welcome to the forum :D

I do not have trouble with mine. I've seen some with the bolt and welded at the same time. Be sure your's is not welded also.

take the retaining screw out fire it up and ride it it will fall out. Be careful not to run over it. This is the easiest way I've found to remove a stuck baffle.

That was some of the best advice I've ever heard!!! (^)
You are sooo right, I don't care how rusted in that baffle is.... Without that screw, it will fall out in the street!!

Is it the exhaust pressure making it come out while riding, or the heat expanding the pipe and letting it come out easily?

Both. If you iake some screen wire and put it over your pipe and make it like a sock, then attach it so the baffle will fall into it and not on the ground You won't run over it, or burn your hand when you pick it up, like I didrotfl I wrap felexable wire around the screen and pipe to hold it. Does the forum look narrower? or have I finely lost my poor mind?:crash:

its the castor oil fumes makes all thing smaller:(
good idea on a catcher for the baffle I didn't go far before mine came out. the heat and the pressure along with the vibs all work together to make it come out.
