[Easy Rider]

This beautiful riding area is only a 10 minutes ride from my place. I took off around 7 pm today. There's a lot of sweeping turns as well as tight ones. This is only my 3rd time riding on this pass and it keeps getting better everytime. The best part was I didn't see one car today on my cruise up in the hills. It's a 25 mile run (one way) to the next town over (Pleasanton, Ca.)
My riding Buddy (cough cough...Lean Dean) was MIA today. So if you're looking at this thread, see what you missed! Ohh did I mention that the temps dropped when I got on the other side of the hill.

This is a preserved county lake (No Boating, fishing or trespassing)
I was told by a few fishermans that this lake has the biggest largemouth bass and trout.

I too am jealous though. not really at the view though, as I've got plenty of that (but smog-free) around here, but I am jealous of the sweet bike.

Thanks Guys, The bike made the ride 3Xs the fun! I rode this pass with my old Cruiser that only had a coaster brake and a chinese motor and it was night and day compared to my new bike. The new bike climbs the steepest hills with ease and it stops on a dime.

Nothing like seeing a 40+ year old man in short tight cut-off jean Shorts! Maybe someday to match my shorts...I'll pull out my old fishnet half shirt with Hawaii printed on the front!

I went on the same ride today and enjoyed it as much as the last time I rode this trail.

Is that a bike trail or a normal road? There's a trial I'd like to take the bike up (once it's working), but it's only for biking, hiking, and horses...not sure if I want to open up that can of worms.

That's a normal road Jason. The good thing is there aren't too many cars on it. The last two times I went for a cruise on this road I didn't see any cars. But there are a few hard-core cyclist that ride up there. It's nice because it lets me get away from the hustle and bustle of the inner-city traffic.

Ahh Horses...be careful around people w/ horses. Horse riders can get pretty wound up because can you imagine spooking a horse with someone riding it. For me, I try to be respectful and obey the laws...most of the time.
