Brakes with a springer front end.

Now that I've finished my build, I'm thinking about mods. I want to put a springer front end on the bike. I also would like to have more braking power. Will side pull brakes work with the 26in springer front ends that are available?

A disc brake would be ideal, but I don't think they will work with my wheels..

I believe that it's Spooky Tooth that also sells a springer fork with built-in pivots for V-brakes, if that kind is an option for you. That's what I have on mine.

its fairly simple to weld the brake bosses on a springer or any fork. I just made this simple jig with some mdf and some bosses from another unused fork and now the bike stops on dime-very important to me because I use this bike to pick up my daughter from kindergarten with the trailer. I am looking into some disc braked wheels just because ya know...... They look cool man!
