Worksman Rims on Whizzer

Question for those of you that have installed Worksman (drum brake-equipped) rims on their new edition Whizzer's.

I've noticed that the fork mounting bracket is bent so it will not fit between the forks (unless the forks are spread a 1/4") and it is too short to reach the attaching bolt thread on the fork. How have you guys dealt with these issues?

If you remove axle spacer from opposite side and replace with fat washers or thin spacer. Should give you some room

Thought of that but of course it puts the front rim over a 1/4" off center.

Yeah, I saw those posts. Unfortunately, those posts were not very detailed and nearly of those guys are MIA.

Easy solution is to make a bracket

I was looking for a picture like that! Nice! I know they do have that bracket set up on some of the modern whizzer.
