2 dawgs.... Have you had any trouble with the gas cap? Like not letting air in, and thus not letting fuel into the motor?

Have not had any problems with venting or fuel flow resulting from the gas cap.

The yellow plastice cap is vented. If you want to upgrade from the plastic cap, purchase a plumbing bolt from your hardware store and drill a hole into the side of the bolt head to vent.

Same here. I've been getting interested in seeing if I could make a custom tank. I would much appreciate any info you could share.

There is no fuel tank kit; the GT-2 comes with the tank already built into the frame. I think you may have confused this bike with the GT-1, which does not have an in-frame tank.

That is the Grubee GT-2 bike, it comes with the tank.
The GT1 and 2's are nice bikes, my next build is going to be a GT-1.

You are now Crown the King of GT2 builds every thing on that bike is superb I love everything the mesh over the rear wheel cool the covers over your cables more cool the head light just right your water bottle. Where in the world did you get that it knocks my socks off fenders Awwwwa! the chrome you added to the tank. I just can't believe that you ride this it is rolling art I am amazed.
If you guys are going to do a GT bike and want a 4G and little more narrow I have 4G kits that are only 10 inches wide so you can use the stock GT1 or 2 one piece wide crank. And I can still work the Combo deal.
