I have a Huffy Karaoke (basicly a Cranbrook) and Im in need of some front brakes. Saw these and am wondering if they will work. Measured the bike and it looks to be really close. I've been using these on some of my new bikes... They're a OK inexpensive brake.
Were they Cranbrooks or one of the other models with the same frame? I just dont want to order them get all exited and then realize that they dont fit. The max spacing is 96mm or about 2.7" and when I measured I got about 2.7" on the frame. I just dont want the pad to touch the tire and pop it. Thanks.

If they have the same frame then you're good. What matters is if the caliper brake has enough reach and that's why these BMX types will work. So you can't take a caliper brake from an old 3 speed and expect it to reach around a fat tire. But the BMX type will and should work fine. You do have some adjustment room for up and down to get it right in relation to the tire.
